CentrixSECURE™ Provides Nebraska Bank
With Secure Alternative To Email
LINCOLN, NE, May 9, 2006 – Centrix Solutions Inc., a provider
of risk management and workforce optimization products to
financial service companies, today announced the implementation
of its CentrixSECURE™ messaging product at Union Bank & Trust in
Lincoln, Nebraska. The
innovative secure communication solution gives Union Bank employees a
means of communicating sensitive data with business partners,
clients and prospective clients in a simple, efficient manner.
Additionally, corporate clients of the bank, payroll companies
and college savings plan participants are using the system to
send sensitive files to bank personnel.
Union Bank & Trust, a $9.1 billion diversified financial
institution, initially selected CentrixSECURE™ to provide its
employees with a secure system to electronically exchange
information with clients within its retirement services division
– first using the system for electronic
delivery of
year-end information. Because of the fast installation and
simple-to-use web interface, the bank has decided to leverage
CentrixSECURE™ throughout its various lines of business,
including secure portals for the Nebraska and Illinois state
college savings plan programs, which Union Bank & Trust
administers.

CentrixSECURE™ is a browser-based solution designed to

secure manner. All
messages and attachments are transferred via a Secure Socket Layer (SSL)
protocol, ensuring that only the sender and authorized recipient
have access to the message and attachments. The system
complements compliance efforts relative to data privacy
regulations such as The Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and other
information protection laws. CentrixSECURE™ also provides a
full audit report of all activity, enabling administrators to
easily see who has opened each message and when those messages
were viewed. The system is “branded” to the corporate identity
of the organization and can optionally be integrated with a
website or on-line banking solution to provide a secure two-way
communication channel for customer service inquiries.
